In this guide, we will talk about who the Sovereigns are and how to use them in Sea of Thieves. We’ll cover everything you need to know about these sovereigns. They are one of the elite factions of pirates who help the captains by delivering the loot for them. We call them pirates because each of them has a tattoo underneath their fancy clothes.
Where to Find Sovereigns in Sea of Thieves
You can find these Sovereigns in every outpost. Approaching the outpost, you will need to look for a giant golden and purple tent. You can easily distinguish outposts from afar just by looking at these tents. They are called Sovereign Huts and they are usually located on the secondary dock of the island towns.
Sovereigns only deal with captains and crew. Unless you’re on a captain’s ship, you can’t make deals with them. After agreeing with the Sovereigns, they will take your treasure and deliver it to the appropriate merchants. They can transport all your loot to the outpost of the relevant trading company. They are very useful and allow players to deliver their treasures much faster.
How to Use Them
You can sell everything and get 100% of the profit. When you make a deal, they will give you the total amount of the treasure’s worth.
Sovereigns don’t do business with the trading company called Reaper’s Bones. Don’t force them to deliver your treasure to Reaper’s Bones because they will reject your offer. The Hunter’s Call is another banned trading company that the Sovereigns don’t do business with.
Order of Souls, Gold Hoarders, Merchant Alliance, Athena’s Fortune, and Bilge Rats are the trading companies they work with.
Once you park your ship near The Sovereign Hut, you can use the harpoon mounted on their tent to carry treasure from your ship. You can also dock a rowboat right next to their tent.
