In this post, I will show you how to defeat the Beastman of Farum Azula boss in Elden Ring. This is a typical early-game boss combining various attack combinations. These attack combinations become more elaborate later in the fight.
Beastman Of Farum Azula Boss Location

Head slightly north of the Church of Elleh to find the Beastman Of Farum Azula. Here you will find a cave called Groveside cave. After passing the entrance, you will eventually see the wall of fog. If you go deeper into the cave, you will finally reach the boss room of the Beastman of Farum Azula.
How To Beat Beastman Of Farum Azula In Elden Ring
To beat the Beastman Of Farum Azula boss in Elden Ring, the first thing you need to know is that blocking isn’t an ideal playstyle. Even if you won’t be dealing with an expansive set of moves, Beastman’s attacks will consume a ton of stamina.
You need to figure out the cadence of Beastman’s attacks. The boss always makes another move that will surprise you when you think a combination is over.
You can take advantage of the short time the boss is roaring. If you’re confident in close combat, hit him with your shield right after he roars. The best time to give him a few hits is right after the six-strike combination. If you’re confident in your ability to time an attack, deal some more damage.
Always make sure you are far enough away from the boss and watch out for a massive overhead chop attack. It’s the only ability that the boss can close the gap between you and him. It’s a cool move with deceptive range. Always keep your distance to avoid the last sweeping move. If you need a little help, feel free to use summons in your fight.
When you defeat the boss, you will get the Flame Drake Talisman as a reward. Flame Drake Talisman increases resistance to fire damage attacks. There are several copies of the Flamedrake Talisman that amplify the effect in the Elden Ring.
