    Great Sword Build Sunbreak

In this MHR guide, we will show you the best early master rank great sword build in Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak. You can easily craft this Great Sword in MHR Sunbreak. It is a very cool sword that can be used until the end of the game. You will have several upgrade options and no charm or talisman will be required to use this sword effectively.

The Best Early Master Rank Great Sword in Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak

The Red Pincer is a good choice as an early Master Rank Great Sword in MHR Sunbreak. This sword is made of a giant pincer and comes from a giant crab called Daimyo Hermitaur. It is one of the first monsters you have to defeat in order to progress in MHR Sunbreak.

To craft the Red Pincer, you will need the following materials.

    • 5 Hermitaur Hardclaw
    • 3 Tiny Hermitaur Shell
    • 1 Dragonbone Artifact
    • 2 Overgrown Stiffbone

To get Overgrown Stiffbones you will need to go to the Jungle and look for bone piles. Dragonbone Artifact can also be found in the same place. However, we recommend going to the Citadel, Lava Caverns, or Flooded Forest to get the Dragonbone Artifact. If you go to these areas, you will have more chances to find this item.

There is another way to get the Red Pincer sword. Red Pincer can be obtained by upgrading the Great Wyvern Fang. If you decide to upgrade instead of crafting the sword from scratch, you will need 3 Hermitaur Hardclaws, 2 Hermitaur Cortexes, 2 Tiny Hermitaur Shells, and 1 Overgrown Stiffbone. You will need less material if you upgrade Great Wyvern Fang to Red Pincer.

    Ingot Helm X

Ingot Helm X is a brand new head armor that comes with Sunbreak. You will need 1 Purecrystal, 1 Meldspar Ore, 1 Frocium, and 2 Kestodon Husks to craft this armor piece.

    Ingot Greaves X

Ingot Greaves X is a leg armor that requires 1 Purecrystal, 1 Meldspar Ore, 1 Sapphiron Ore, and 2 Monster Toughbones to craft.

To equip these armors, you will need to reach master rank 2 and collect all the necessary materials.

    Anti-Dragon Jewel 2

MHR Sunbreak comes with a new feature called Rampage Decorations. Red Pincer has an empty rampage slot where you can place a rampage decoration. Anti-Dragon Jewel 2 is a good rampage decoration that gives Wyvern Exploit Skill. It provides increased damage against Flying, Bird, Brute, Piscine, Fanged Wyverns, and Leviathan. Anti-Dragon Jewel 2 is a good option if you are looking for a rampage decoration that is effective on most of the monsters in the game.
